Test and Tag
JAE offer an affordable nation-wide Test and Tag service to all types of businesses ranging from having 1 item to 100,000 items.
Test and Tag is a procedure which minimizes the risk of electrical shock. Each piece of equipment is tested to the standard AS3760. A record of these tests is kept as part of your overall OH&S risk management documentation. All documentation and reports are available through JAE’s online customer portal system. At JAE, we test all types of equipment including 3 phase equipment.
RCD Testing
A residual current device (RCD) is an electrical safety device that helps to prevent electrical injuries and fatalities. When using electrical equipment that is faulty it can lead to serious electric shocks or electrocution. An RCD is designed to immediately switch the electricity off once a fault is recognized, in doing so this prevents an electrical shock hazard. It is mandatory that RCD’s are installed and maintained to meet Australian standards.
JAE hold electrical licences in all states and territories in Australia enabling us to provide all mandatory testing including trip current time test and the push button test. A record of testing must be kept until the device is next tested or disposed of which JAE will make available on their customer portal system.
Portable Fire Equipment Servicing
Mandatory testing of portable and non-portable fire equipment is a large part of what we do at JAE to ensure our customers can maintain all their compliance needs through one provider. All testing is completed to the standard of AS1851.
JAE uses an Asset Maintenance Planner keeping track of all your Assets, their location and service levels for all certification requirements.
